In today's busy lifestyle, we often try to multitask, such as checking email while talking on the phone, or scrolling through social media while watching TV. We think we are saving time, but in reality this habit is harming our brain.
When we concentrate on many things at the same time, our brain cannot concentrate completely on any one task. This not only reduces our efficiency but also has a negative impact on memory.

Due to multitasking, proper storage and retrieval of information is not possible in the brain. If you want to improve your memory, then first of all give up the habit of multitasking and focus on **single-tasking**. This means focusing completely on one task at a time. When you concentrate completely on one task, your brain processes that information more deeply and remembers it better.
Other ways to improve memory:

- **Sleep on time:** Not getting enough sleep makes the brain feel tired and the ability to remember decreases.
